Today’s sermon just hit the nail on the head. I don’t know what it is, or how you do it, but you and Robert have a way of delivering just the messages I need to hear, when I need to hear it. I feel as though I am in a movie of my life. Whetehr it is fate, providence, divine intervention; Who knows! I don’t really care, I’m just glad the message is there for me when I need it.

The Easter service was one of the best my partner and I have experienced. I believe we have found a new Easter tradition and that is to visit Fort Lauderdale over Easter weekend and worship with our MCC sisters and brothers at Sunshine Cathedral.

Rev. Dr. Watkins is a true preacher and teacher! We were also moved by the diversity of tremendous music that guided us through the wonderful Resurrection story throughout worship and left us feeling as high as the perfect high C one of Sunshine Cathedral’s Choir soprano divas was able to hit at the end of “Christ the Lord is Risen Today”. Alleluia indeed!

Thank you so much for the wonderful words. My partner and I once in a while attend a service at Sunshine Cathedral. However, living 40 miles away is not so easy to attend. In the meantime, we attend a very open and accepting Episcopal Church. Again, thanks for the wonderful homily.
